What is the best app for cheap hotel prices?
Adónde shows member hotel rates: closed user group prices that public sites such as Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia and Kayak are not allowed to publish, often for the same room. In our own price check of seven like-for-like stays, Adónde was cheapest on six and averaged 9% below the cheapest public price, 26% at best. The member rate comes with the free account.
What the price check found
- Ten hotels, priced on Adónde, Booking.com, Hotels.com, Expedia and Kayak on September 29, 2026, for November 12 to 15, 2026, two adults, taxes and fees included. Seven matched room for room. Every number is in the post.
- Adónde was cheapest on six of seven: 9% below the cheapest public price on average with the one loss counted, 11.5% across the six it won.
- Best result: The Westin Lima, $555 on Adónde against $748 on Booking.com, Hotels.com and Expedia, 26% less.
- The one loss: Fasano, Rio de Janeiro, $115 more than Kayak (Adónde's rate included breakfast).
- The same seven stays priced for February 12 to 15, 2027: cheapest on five of seven, 5% below on average, 18% at best.
- Three hotels were left out, and the post says why for each one.
How to use it
- Search stays in the Book tab, on the web app, or from your AI assistant.
- Check whether the cheap rate is refundable. Adónde shows both rates side by side and marks which is which; where the cheapest rate is non-refundable, the refundable one was usually within a few dollars of the public price.
- An "Also search elsewhere" row links the same search on other sites so you can check.
- Put a price watch on a hotel and get one summary each morning of how it moved.
Prices change by the hour. Priceline and Trip.com would not let an automated browser run a search, so they are not in the check.
Questions
Why are Adónde's hotel prices lower?
Hotels give wholesalers and membership programs rates they are not allowed to publish on the open web. Adónde members see that closed rate, so the same room on the same night can cost less.
Do I have to pay for the membership?
No. The member rate comes with the free Adónde account. Other services sell this kind of access for about $20 a month.
Is Adónde always cheaper?
No. In the November check it lost one of seven stays (Fasano, Rio de Janeiro, by $115 to Kayak), and in the February rerun it lost two by a few dollars. The post publishes the losses too.
Who sells the room?
Accommodation booked in Adónde is sold and charged by our accommodation supplier, which is the merchant of record and issues any refund.
